ROMAN ARCH Clean Energy is active across all segments within the solar PV industry. The Firm seeks to provide services to clients in the Utility-scale, Commercial and Small-scale Utility segments, as well as to the Distributed Generation sector.
Utility-scale
ROMAN ARCH Clean Energy Finance seeks to collaborate with solar project developers in arranging for financing to capitalize utility-scale solar PV projects generally in excess of 20 MW in size. The Firm is well-positioned to finance individual projects or to aggregate projects into larger portfolios in order to generate increased interest from institutional investors and to leverage various economies of scale. These include increased technology purchasing power, leverage with EPCs and O&M service providers, and minimizing transaction costs by spreading these costs over a larger volume of MWs, among other benefits. The Firm is well positioned to identify and collaborate with co-development partners that bring pre-development capital, to arrange for construction financing, and to source the entire permanent capital stack, including the identification and sourcing of tax equity and sponsor equity investors.
ROMAN ARCH Clean Energy has a well-established network to identify and source state and Federal tax equity. The Firm also has relationships with an active community of private equity firms with preexisting interest and investments in renewable energy assets, as well as a wide variety of industry participants, including other U.S. developers, international investors and global module manufacturers, interested in investing in or acquiring solar PV projects along the entire development continuum from land control through commissioning. If you need assistance is identifying financing sources, or in managing a process to identify investors or acquirers of your development or generating assets, please let us know if we can of of assistance
Commercial and Small-scale Utility
Similar to Utility-scale projects, ROMAN ARCH Clean Energy has an extensive network of financing and industry contacts it can leverage. The Firm maintains regular and close contact with a large universe of organizations that are actively seeking generating assets to add to their portfolio of renewable energy investments, including utilities and passive investors. This sector is generally characterized by projects in the 2-20 MW range.
Distributed Solar
ROMAN ARCH Clean Energy also provides assistance to developers and asset owners that have projects in the 100 kW to 2 MW range. The Distributed Generation, or DG, segment of the market is represented by "behind-the-meter" electricity generating assets and includes corporations, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, educational institutions, including universities and school districts, municipalities and government agencies or institutions as host, or recipient, of the electricity generated by the solar PV facility.
